Brian John Grimley was born in the west country of England and moved to America 25 years ago. He is a self taught chef. His influences exhibit a southern bias with his love of the cuisine of New Orleans and Charleston. Brian and his wife Melanie recently moved to Fernandina Beach and opened LuLu's . They used to live in the Victorian town of Colonial Beach, Virginia where they owned and operated a full service restaurant. They were looking to downsize so they could get back to the personnel touches of a smaller restaurant.
